NO PETS OF ANY KIND PERMITTED ON THE GROUNDS OR IN THE HOUSE
Parking: The driveway is steep (we recommend your vehicle to be all wheel drive or 4 wheel
drive) please be careful and proceed with care. You will be permitted to park 2 vehicles in the
garage. There will be room for 2 more vehicles in front of the house, and 2 at the top of the
property by the road.
No smoking in the house (vaping, cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, etc) if there is evidence of
smoking reported by the cleaning staff, you will be charged to clean the odors from the house.
No House Parties! The owner reserves the right to refuse occupancy or discontinue the rental
with no refund if a house party is detected. Please be kind and considerate to our neighbors so
we can continue offering our home as a vacation rental.
The Lake House is on a Septic System- Do Not Flush anything other than toilet paper- No
feminine products, diapers, wipes, etc. Use the trash cans provided in the bathrooms.
Please discard food waste, grease, and other non liquid items into the trash.
Exterior spaces:
Hot Tub: Please place cover on when not in use.
Gas Grill: Please use it in an open area not under the wood ceiling, clean it when finished.
The private floating dock and 2 slips will be for your use, and will be your responsibility to
assume the risk of using it.
2 kayaks located on the dock -please hang them back up when finished using them.
** Please note the ladder on the dock is anchored to deck boards that are slippery when
wet, please take care of raising the ladder in and out of the water.
Fire Table on the main level deck- please turn it off when not in use
Appliance/Equipment failures will be repaired as quickly as possible. Refunds will not be made
for any appliance or equipment failures. The Lake House is in a rural area and power outages
do occur from time to time, no refund to be given if this happens during your stay.
Bringing your boat: Our gated community has a private, gated boat launch, accessed with a
key card. There is no trailer parking at the house. There is a designated trailer parking area
by the mailboxes on Shanghai Landing Lane, you must have a trailer tag on your trailer. The
trailer tag will be at the house, in a basket left of the refrigerator, and must be put back in
this designated location before your departure or fees will apply
Boat launch gate key card will be in a lock box on a pole beside the orange gate on Boat
Launch Road the code is ______.
No trailers are permitted in the house driveway, nor at the road in front of the house.
